Hydowiki content is contributed and navigated using the following categories:
- Featured Articles
- These are longer articles about a certain subject or event. This should make up the main body of content of Hydrowiki.
- Watersheds
- This section provides details about watersheds of particular interest to hydrologists. This can include experimental watersheds, watersheds where particular events happened, etc.
- Glossary
- List of defined terms used in the hydrological disciplines.
- Hydrology in the News
- Short articles pointing out or discussing some recent news that relates to hydrology or water resources
- Famous Hydrologists
- This Section of the Hydrowiki provides details about notable hydrologists throughout the history of the disciplines.
